Dunedin City Baptist Church

We are a Christian church.  We believe:

• God is a loving Father who wants everyone to know the joy and peace of being his children, now and forever.
• Jesus Christ is God’s son, sharing his divine nature and holiness.
• We are all imperfect people who have done wrong, and there is no way that by our own efforts we could ever be good enough to enter God’s holy presence.
• Because of his love for us, God let Jesus die, carrying the spiritual burden of all our wrongdoing.
• It is only by accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf that we are freed from our wrongdoing, so that God is able to accept and welcome us as his children.
• As God’s children and with the God’s enabling, we seek to obey and serve God with our whole lives. Loving Him and loving those around us.
